I just sent a letter to my future self. I feel so relieved for some so reason. That was better than a diary entry. I can’t wait to get this letter in the future.
Finally done with finals!
I feel sweet freedom. After my final ended, today was an excellent day. I saw Joe and Sarah for the first time in a really long time. We ate at Kafe Yen, an Asian fusion restaurant that’s really quite amazing from the atmosphere to the food. After that, we went right across the street to Gringo’s to get dessert - it was this absolutely fantastic banana burrito thing that just melts in your mouth. Ahhhhh delicious. Then we were so full that we walked around a bit and checked out the clothes at a store called The Closet.
I missed them SO much. Finally being able to catch up with them was incredible. I was thinking about it and I love my friends so much. Not only are we relaxed and open, we’re extremely open. We talk about things I would never have talked about in high school. In fact, my first year, I was shocked to hear them spoken of. My college friends have helped me open up and not hold things in.
Besides the deep stuff, we talked about basically anything and everything from Christmas decorations to Glee to White Collar (Joe is the only person I know who watches it, so it was great being able to freak out about the fall finale with him.
All in all, it’s been a good day - if you don’t count the two hours I had to take that final :P
